Hictu! is out
I’ve been away for some days from my blogging activity because of my full immersion for the launch of a new, exciting product!
Now I’m back and I’m proud to present Hictu!
Hictu! is pronounced “eektoo” and derives from the latin “Hic Tu”, which means “You, Here”.
Hictu! is a Web application that allows you to handle your contacts in a more efficient way, and helps you finding the best way to communicate. Nothing to download: just login, wherever you are, and use it. For free!
Something that you already know? I don’t think so. Hictu! is the only one which makes an aggregation among several different sources of availability information of your contacts, and provides you with a global view.
Furthermore, Hictu! helps you discovering new ways to reach your contacts, showing you a complete (and ever growing) list of communication services by which you can find them, without the need for you to register to any new service.
Once you have completed the easy, two-steps registration in Hictu! you can start being in touch with your friends, family, co-workers, business contacts, and so on.
Hictu! brings your already existing, “dead” address books and transform them in “live” contacts. In a few seconds you’ll learn how to import your email addresses and offer your contacts a richer experience while staying in touch with you.
Hictu! speaks to its users through a blog, publishing information on its usage, news, describing features in more detail and everything surrounding the Hictu! users world.
If you need to go deeper in its features, or to discuss with other users about it, there is a forum for you.
As you will see, Hictu! has been designed to provide a very simple, intuitive interface, but Hictu! will grow up with you and with the contribute of all users.
The entire design and development process have been thought to be the most responsive to the users’ needs (You want it? You got it!), but this doesn’t mean that we are limiting our offer to just what is perceived as “needed”. We have a clear concept in our minds: communication is about people. Contacts must be represented, at the higher level, by a real and efficient collection of information about their availability and communication potentials.
This is why in the next months Hictu! will reach mobile phones, and its users will assist to a new and amazing convergence: it’s not fixed that converges to mobile, but it’s Mobile and Internet which becomes different interfaces of the same tool.
Hictu! is secure: users have a one-to-one authorization mechanism which guarantees security and privacy.
Now go to Hictu!, create your account, customize your profile, invite your contacts and start communicating!
My Hictu! nickname is “giavac”. To add me to your contact list, just go to “Add Contacts” section, write “giavac” in the appropriate edit box and click on “Add to Hictu!”
Enjoy!
